An outstanding opportunity exists for a highly motived lawyer to work in property law in a busy Australian practice.

  • Preparing advices and documentation on instruction from experienced lawyers and directors;
  • involvement in providing timely, strategic, legal advice to clients; and
  • assisting a number of senior lawyers and directors as required.

The successful applicant will ideally possess:

  • at least 5 years’ post admission experience;
  • experience in property law including commercial and residential leasing, conveyancing, property development, option agreements, JV agreements, security and loan documentation, due diligence investigations and ancillary documentation for property related matters;
  • a practical approach, while being keen to learn;
  • an ability to build relationships and be client focused;
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • strong time management and organisational skills together with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities simultaneously;
  • an ability to work autonomously as well as part of multi-disciplinary teams; and
  • be results driven, reliable and well presented.

  • Preparing advices and documentation on instruction from experienced lawyers;
  • Direct management of files under supervision of experienced lawyers;
  • Involvement in providing timely, strategic, legal advice to clients;
  • Participation in business development and growth initiatives for the firm.

The successful applicant will ideally possess:

  • At least 5 years’ post admission experience;
  • Experience in corporate and commercial law in such matters as drafting of shareholder and other company agreements and related documentation, due diligence and other assistance in transactional matters, advising clients on a broad range of commercial issues including corporations law, competition law and restructuring;
  • A practical approach, while being keen to learn;
  • An ability to build relationships and be client focused;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Strong time management and organisational skills together with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities simultaneously.
